Dr. Todd Gray  and the War Memorials in Devon.

Todd spent over a decade tracking down all of Devon’s war memorials, resulting in the publication of his award-winning book, “Lest Devon Forgets”.

In his talk he covers the discussions and controversies that surrounded the County’s Great War memorials. Communities grappled with grief, loss, identity and memory, the result being a great variety of memorials with often surprising stories behind them.
