Beatrice Chase or Olive Katherine Parr was a well-known authoress with a passion for Dartmoor which she lovingly portrayed. She was known for having a ‘strong’ personality, rather difficult to deal with and was considered to be somewhat eccentric.

This was an engrossing tale about the mystery surrounding her life, extremely well presented by Simon Dell to the crowded hall.
