David Hinchliffe moved into the area in 2010, and walking around our streets noted a number of interesting but now often rather neglected and forgotten structures.

In this talk he explored how we came to have drinking fountains on our streets, and told the stories of some we pass by every day.  Copies of his book “The Drinking Fountains of Torquay” were for sale after the meeting at £5.50 per copy.
