David Hinchliffe  tells us about the “Kiwis in Torquay”.

Between 1917 and 1919 around 40,000 permanently unfit and disabled New Zealand troops passed through the Discharge Depot in Torquay on their way home. Learn about the many buildings they were billeted in, their extensive farming operation, social activities and relations with the locals.
