Mike Crew has been researching and collecting memorabilia relating to Princess Louise, Queen Victoria’s 6th child, for over 23 years.

He has access to a large collection of the personal mail of one of the outstanding women of the late Victorian period.  In this talk he will tell us all about this noted sculptress and artist, women’s rights activist and educationalist.  The wife of the Governor of Canada, her personal life was pretty interesting too.

What is more, she has a number of links with our area, which Mike will elaborate.
