This evening’s talk is from Peter Wade – The Remarkable Story of Sister Mary Benedict.

Peter is a former history teacher and a committee member of AbbPast, the Abbotskerswell local history group.  He will explain how The Priory, just outside Abbotskerswell came to be built because a young Irish nun was told to do so by Jesus and Mary.  The order was changed from a teaching one to one of perpetual adoration, but the Church then buried the story !
