This January evening Paul Davies will tell us about Torquay’s Antarctic
Connections.

Paul is the President of Devon and Cornwall Polar Society, and author of ‘From South Devon to the South Pole’ (2011). The talk will include details of Torquay connections with Scott and Shackleton’s expeditions to the Antarctic and include fresh research about Roald Amundsen’s talk at Torquay Pavilion in 1912.
